view to the East
Only the now and the here count. My subject, the camera and me, then everything comes together. Looking through a camera lens is an exercise in concentration.

I have endless possibilities to take a picture and also to make it fail. It is all about having complete control of the camera, freeing myself from distracting thoughts and focusing on the subject with full attention, openness and inquisitiveness.

It is not easy to find that attitude. I am beginning to understand that photography is mainly a mental task. A proof of mastery and concentration.
